Emmett D. Beckner, 1932-1995
MITCHELL, IOWA - Emmett D. Beckner, 63, of Mitchell, died Friday Sept. 22, 1995, at the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 25, 1995, at Faith Lutheran Church in Mitchell with the Rev. Rose Marie Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Mitchell, with military rites by Osage V.F.W. Post 7920. Visitation is from 4 to 7 tonight at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage, and one hour prior to service at the church Monday.
Emmett Beckner was born March 27, 1932, in Osage, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Beckner, Mitchell; daughters, Julie McGibbon, Pamela Krause and Sheley Lotspeich, all of South St. Paul, Minnesota, Diane Lee, Coon Rapids, Minnesota, and Lynda Karels, Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota; a sister, Phyllis Levendusky, Mitchell; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
