Ole Pederson Golberg, whose death was announced last week, was born at Golberg, Gol, Hallingdal, Norway, February 6th, 1836 and was baptized February 14 the same year and confirmed June 30, 1850.

He emigrated to America in June 1869. He remained a few months in Winnesheik county and then removed to St. Ansgar where he made his home since that time.

April 1, 1898 he married Mathea Finstad, who survives him. He has been troubled with heart disease for about a year and a half. He died at St. Ansgar January 16, 1907 and the funeral was conducted by Rev. Waldeland at the N.L. church January 18, 1907.
