RITES TUESDAY FOR OSAGE WOMAN 81
Osage---Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Godfrey, 81, will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Champion funeral home, with burial in the Osage cemetery. she died Saturday evening at a hospital in Charles City after a long illness.
Mrs. Godfrey was born September 15, 1869, of pioneer parents, Josiah and Lucina Welch in Est Lincoln township, Mitchell county. Following her marriage to George W. Godfrey she lived on a farm southest of Osage, making that her home for 63 years.
Survivors include a son, Stanley, at home, a daughter, Mrs. Lester Austin of Lincoln, Nebr., two sisters, a brother, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren
