William Canny, 64, of heart disease at his home Wednesday; born Sept. 16, 1880, at West Liberty, Illinois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Canny; married Evie Alice Wickham in 1900 at West Liberty; moved to a farm three miles north of Osage in 1913; lived there until two years ago, when they moved to Osage; leaves widow; eight children, Pvt. Glen in France; Pvt. Clifford in Italy; Pvt. Dean, marine in south Pacific; Pvt. Gerald, Camp Van Dorn, Miss.; Mrs. Amil Prochaska, Clarus Canny, Mrs. Emmett Graves and Wayne Canny, all of Osage; funeral Saturday at Champion funeral home; burial Osage Cemetery.

#2:Osage - Funeral service will be held at 3:30 pm Sunday at the Champion funeral home for William Canny, 64, who died suddenly from a heart attack at his home in Osage Wednesday evading. The Rev. T. P. Solem will officiate, with burial in the Osage cemetery.
Mr. Canny was born Sept. 16, 1880 at West Liberty, Illinois. He was married in 1913 to Eva Alice Wickham. The established thier first home at West Liberty then moved to a farm north of Osage, where they resided for 29 years, coming to Osage in 1942.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs Emil Prochaska, Osage and Mrs. Emmett Graves of Osage; six sons: Clarus and Wayne of Osage, Pvt. Glen Canny, in France, Pfc. Clifford Canny, somewhere in Italy, Pvt. Gerald Canny, Camp Dorn, Miss. and Pvt. Dean Canny, of the Marines, in the south Pacific.
