Funeral Friday for
Worth County WomanSt. Ansgar: Funeral services for Miss Ida Tollefson, 68, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran church, the Rev. O.A. Langehough officiating. She died suddenly of nephritis at her home north of town Tuesday.
Born on a farm in Worth county, her mother died when she was one year old and she went to live with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N. H. Nelson. She attended high school at St. Ansgar and the Cedar Valley Seminary at Osage. She was a member of the First Lutheran church, St. Ansgar.
She is survived by an aunt, Miss Mary Nelson with whom she lived. Also another aunt, Mrs. Anna Bergu, Oneida, N. Y., and uncle, Iver Nelson, Minneapolis. She also leaves six sisters and three brothers: Mrs. B. W. Crandall and George Tollefson, Boise, Idaho; Dick Tollefson, Richland, Washington; Thomas Tollefson and Mrs. Edward Ryman, Aberdeen, South Dakota; Mrs. Clara Kukar; Miss Mary Tollefson, Chicago; Mrs. A. M. Thompson, Faribault, Minnesota; and Mrs. Adolph Groth, St. Ansgar.
Burial will be made in the First Lutheran cemetery.

Note: Ida was the daughter of Andrew K. Tollefson (1854-1832), who died in Minnesota and was buried in South Dakota, and his first wife, Carrie Nelson Tollefson (1853-1879).

Her birth date was February 5, 1878, and her date of death was March 18, 1946.Her middle name is also spelled Thomine.
