MRS. MINNIE MADDEN
COMMITTAL SERVICES
HELD SATURDAY. (1966)Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Madden, 83, who died at the Woodlawn Convalescent Home in Waterloo, Thursday, June 2, were held at the Chapel of Memories West in Waterloo Saturday, June 4.
Committal services were held at the First Lutheran church cemetery here (St. Ansgar) Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Don Comnick officiating.
Minnie Traaseth was born October 10, 1882 in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Nels and Sorvene Traaseth. Mrs. Madden had lived in Waterloo the past two years, and 28 years before that in Austin, Minn. Her six children were all born in St. Ansgar.
Mrs. Madden is survived by her husband, Robert of Waterloo; four sons, George, Roger and Henry Grovo all of Waterloo, and Olaf Grovo of LaSalle, Illinois, a daughter, Mrs. Caroline Taets of Austin, Minn.; 17 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one brother, Carl Traaseth of Duncombe and two sisters, Miss Gertrude Traaseth of Cleghorn and Mrs. Elizabeth Grimm of St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Madden was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, one son and two grand-children.
