Funeral Rites
Held Here Tuesday,
February 24

Memorial funeral services for Mrs. Margaret B. Christensen, 84, who died at a Mason City hospital February 19, were held February 24 at the Schroeder Funeral Home here with the Rev. Bruce Wittern officiating.

Margaret B. Christensen was born December 14, 1896 in Forest City, the daughter of Peter and Christina Lytzen. She was the eldest of three children.

She married Herman Christensen in 1914. They lived on a farm near Forest City for a number of years. She moved to Los Angeles, Calif. in 1942 where she was an interior decorator until retiring back to Iowa 10 years ago.

Mrs. Christensen is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Vergie) Brones of St. Ansgar; Mrs. Robert (Thelma) Isenhower of Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Pat (Aldyce) McEnany of Cedar Falls; two sons, Creson Christensen, Greenwich, Conn. and Lee Christensen of Northridge, Calif.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and two daughters and one son.

Burial was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, Calif.
