Emma Farnham,

FORMER OSAGE TEACHER
DIES AT CHARLES CITY

Mrs. Emma L. Farnham was Stepmother of Mrs. Louis Savre.

Mrs. Emma Lower Farnham, stepmother of Mrs. Louis Davre, died Sunday night at her late home in Charles City after an illness of two weeks. She had been a resident of that city for many years. Other stepchildren surviving are Benton and Ralph Farnham of Charles City.

As Miss Emma Lower, she was one of the successful teachers in the Osage public schools and there are pupils still living here, past middle life, who remember with affection her gracious personality in the school room.

Her first husband was F. F. Coffin, a prominent attorney. A number of years after his death she was married to Mr. Farnham of Charles City.
