ED HACKBART SUFFERS FATAL HEART ATTACK
Osage: Edward Hackbart, 84, died suddenly Saturday morning at his home in Osage after suffering a heart attack. He had been ill prior to the fatal attack. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Champion Funeral Home.
Mr. Hackbart was born July 27, 1873, in Columbia County, Wis., and accompanied his parents to Worth County near Grafton as a young man. In November 1898, he was married to Minnie Tabbert, who survives. They farmed near Osage and have lived in town for the past 32 years.
Survivors include his wife; four sons: Oscar, Roy and Melvin, all of Osage, and Raymond, Charles City; one daughter, Mrs. George Beyer, Mitchell; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; four brothers, Emil, Ferd and William, all of Grafton; Gustav, Owatonna, Minnesota, and one sister, Miss Emma Hackbart
