SLEEPING SICKNESS FATAL TO YOUNG OSAGE MOTHER
Osage: Mrs. Robert N. (Mary) Hemann, 29, died Sunday at a Rochester hospital of encephalitis (sleeping sickness.) She had been ill 12 days. It is the first case of encephalitis known in this area this year.Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church with burial in the church cemetery, with Champion Funeral Home in charge. Born in Osage, September 1, 1933, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Shultheis (note* this should be spelled Schultheis)
Surviving are her husband, five children; Mark, 6; Dennis, 5; Linda, 4; Sharon, 2 and Joyce, 1; her parents, Osage; three sisters, Mrs. Ray Klaes, New Haven; Mrs. Richard Lybarger and Elizabeth, both of Osage, and her grandmother, Mrs. Minnie Rogers, Osage.
