OBITUARY: Arthur A. Klapperich, 1907-1996
McINTIRE, IOWA - Arthur A. Klapperich, 88, of 4821 Quartz Avenue, McIntire, died Friday, Feb. 9, 1996, at North Iowa Mercy Health Center West, Mason City.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Sacred Heart Church, Meyer, with the Rev. Paul Otting officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday with a rosary and an 8 p.m. Scripture service at the Sacred Heart Church, Meyer.
Hatten & Sons Funeral Home, Stacyville, is in charge of arrangements.
Arthur A. Klapperich was born Aug. 29, 1907 in rural Meyer, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Klapperich of McIntire; three daughters, Mary Leonard of Mantorville, Minn., Barbara Kime of Austin, Minn., and Annette Hutchinson of Cottage Grove, Minn.; four sons, Gene Klapperich of Lynden, Wash., David Klapperich of Eau Claire, Wis., Daniel Klapperich of Spring Hill, Tenn., and Tony Klapperich of Spring Grove, Minn.; two sisters, Martha Breister of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Anna Marie Steffen of St. Cloud, Wis.; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother.
