OSAGE, IOWA - Bertilla “Bert” Pint, age 84, of Osage, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Rev. John Moser officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m.

Bertilla was born August 23, 1925 in Stacyville, Iowa, at her home, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Rauen) Isaac. She attended school in Stacyville at Visitation Academy. Bertilla was married to Kenneth Pint on July 16, 1947 at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville. She was a housewife until she drove school bus for Osage from 1968 until 1991. She also worked part time as a cook for “Christiansen’s Drive Inn.” Bertilla owned “Farmer’s Inn” until the late 1980’s. After that she got her C.N.A. and worked at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage until she retired in 2006. Bertilla enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Bertilla is survived by 6 children; Curtis (Lois Jean) Pint of Dickyville, Wisconsin LuAnn (Bruce) Budahn of Austin, Minnesota Lynda (Larry) Johnson of Osage Lynn Pint of Osage Gwen Driscoll of Osage Neil Pint of Lenexa, Kansas Son-in-law, Tom Gast of Nora Springs Sister, Lorraine (Leo) Meitner of Osage Brother, Harold (Kay) Isaac of Stacyville 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband Kenneth in 1975, Daughter Pamela Gast in 2002, Brother Verlyn, Sister Esther and Sister-in-law Kay Cahill
