OSAGE, IOWA -- Funeral services were conducted yesterday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peters Catholic church for Mrs. John Wagner, 71 who died Wednesday evening. Rev. Fr. Thomas Conroy officiated. Burial was in St. Peter's cemetery.

Mrs. Wagner had been ill the past 14 years. She was born Mary Kirst, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Kirst Dec. 18, 1877, in New Haven, Iowa.

She was married to John Wagner in 1907. Surviving are her husband, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Leon Green, Mason City, Iowa, and three grandchildren.

LAST RITES FOR MRS.
JOHN S. WAGNER WERE
HELD SATURDAY MORNING

Funeral services for Mrs. John S. Wagner of New Haven, Iowa, were held on Saturday morning, July 16, 1949 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in New Haven, with Rev. Leo Entringer officiating. burial was made in the church cemetery. Mrs. Wagner died Wednesday evening after a lingering illness of about 13 years.

Mary J. Kirst, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Kirst, was born near New Haven on December 18, 1877. On May 1, 1907, she was married to John S. Wagner.

Her entire life was spent in New Haven, where Mr. Wagner operates a blacksmith shop.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Leon (Edna) Green of Mason City, and three grandchildren, Gervin, Yvonne and Willie Jo.

Her father, mother, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
