Raymond Simpson
OSAGE, IOWA - Raymond Simpson, 76, died Saturday, December 28, 1996, at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Champion Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Gonnerman officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 278 and V.F.W. Post 7920.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Raymond Simpson was born August 26, 1920 in Osage.
Survivors include one son, Robert Simpson of Austin, Texas; three daughters, Sharon Sayles, Virginia Glassel and Beverly DeBlauwe, all of St. Ansgar; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; step-mother, Mabel Simpson of Waconia, Minn.; and five half-brothers, Jerry Simpson of Duluth, Minn., Keith Simpson of Mound, Minn., Dean Simpson of Excelsior, Minn., Donald Simpson of Le Sueur, Minnesota, and David Simpson of Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
