OBITUARY: Fred R. Keating, 1872-1917

Obituary-Keating

Fred R. Keating was born at Osage, Iowa, Sept. 23, 1872, and died at Sanagag, Cal., July 1, 1917 of pneumonia. His friends did not know of his sickness until the sad message came Sunday evening saying that he had passed away.

His father died when he was 11 years of age, leaving the responsibility of the home upon his tender youth. His devotion to his mother, who preceded him, was equalled by few, and surpassed by none.

He leaves one sister, who resides at Seattle, with other relatives to mourn his sudden departure.
