OBITUARY: Violet Decker, 1904-1996
LITTLE CEDAR, IOWA - Violet Decker, 91, of Little Cedar, died Monday, March 25, 1996, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Little Cedar United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ted Stowers officiating.
Burial will be in the Little Cedar Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
Violet Decker was born Oct. 5, 1904, on a farm near Little Cedar.
Survivors include one daughter, Gloria Mills of Osage; two sisters, her twin, Viola Peterson of Waterloo, and Helen Culbertson of Little Cedar; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and two sisters.
