Frederick Franklin Adrian [1913-1980]
Funeral services for Fred F. Adrian, 66, of Charles City, who died Sunday morning, July 13 at a Rochester, Minnesota hospital, were held Tuesday, July 15 at St. John's Lutheran church, Charles City, with the Rev. Francis Griffeth, associate pastor, officiating.
Frederick Franklin Adrian was born September 28, 1913 in Rock township, Mitchell County, the son of George and Margaret (Troge) Adrian. He was a graduate of St. Ansgar high school and Hamilton Business College, Mason City.
November 15, 1939 he married Grace Kogle at the Immanuel Lutheran church here. Two children were born to them. Mr. Adrian owned and operated Adrian Implement Co. in Charles City for many years, and more recently had been a securities salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Grace, of Charles City; a son, Anthony of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Diane) Welton of Freeport, Illinois; a brother, Wilmer of Osage; five grandchildren.
Burial was in Sunnyside Memorial Gardens in Charles City with the Rev. Griffeth in charge of the committal services.
