We clip the following from last Friday's Waterloo Courier.
Mrs. George Hosmer died this morning at six o'clock at her home at 130 Cortlandt Street, after an illness of a few days of uraemic poisoning.
She leaves a baby two weeks old and her husband, besides her father and two sisters and one brother at Osage.
Mrs Hosmer's maiden name was Charlotte Gable, and she was married January 28, 1901, to George Hosmer at New Hampton. They moved to Waterloo shortly after their marriage and have lived here since that time. Mrs. Hosmer was a woman of lovable character and won and kept a large circle of warm friends.
The funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the house, conducted by Rev. S. Callen, and the interment will be in Fairview cemetery.
Mrs. Hosmer's father and sister, Mr. E. E. Gable and daughter Pearl, went down to the funeral services, Monday. Mrs. Hosmer was well known here and made many warm friends who will all be saddened by the new of her sudden death.

MRS. HOSMER'S DEATH
(From Saturday's Daily.)
Mrs. G. M. Hosmer died this morning at 6 o'clock at her home, 124 Courtland Street, of muratic* poisoning which unhappily followed the birth of her babe three weeks ago.
She did not rally from her sickness and death came after over two weeks of sickness of an alarming character during which time she was known to be dangerously ill and liable to be called home at any hour.
She was formerly Miss Charlotte Gable of Osage, where her father, E. E. Gable, two sisters and one brother reside. Her age was twenty-seven years. Mrs. Hosmer was a lovable wife and a woman whose disposition won her friends. She became the wife of the man she leaves to mourn her loss Jan. 28, 1891.
The life she gave at the loss of her own will be some comfort to the, bereaved father. It is the only child. The mother was a member of the Methodist church in Osage.
The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 from the residence with burial in Fairview. Rev. Mr. Callen of the Presbyterian church will speak over the body.
