Mrs. Lewis (Emma) Perau

#1:

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Services for Mrs. Lewis (Emma) Perau, 85, who died Monday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Toeterville.

Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Schroeder and Dunn Funeral Home in St. Ansgar in charge of arrangements' where friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

1895: Emma Schroeder age 3.

1900: Albert G Schroeder 39, Anna E Schroeder 33, Adolph W Schroeder 12, Mary A Schroeder 11, Emma I Schroeder 9.

1910: Albert Schroeder 49, Annie Schroeder 43, Adolf Schroeder 22, Mary Schroeder 21, Emma Schroeder 19, Martin Schroeder 5, Frederika Schroeder 79.

Emma married Lewis William Perau (1891-1944) before 1920 at Mitchell Co, Iowa.

Found in the 1920 - 1940 censuses living on a farm near Otranto, Mitchell, Iowa:

1920: Louis W Perau 28, Emma Perau 28.

1930: Louis W Perau 39, Emma Perau 39 [38], Walter Schmidtke 22.

1940: Louis W Perow 49, Emma Perow 49, Rudolph Schroer 32.

Emma Perau died December 6, 1976 at Osage, Mitchell County, Iowa and was buried at St Peter Cemetery, Toeterville, Mitchell, Iowa.
