ECHBURG, GOLBERG

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna C. Echburg were held on Monday afternoon at the First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar. The obsequies were in charge of the Rev. Olaf A. Langehough.

Anna Christine Echburg was born July 4th, 1864, at St. Ansgar, Mitchell county, Iowa, and was the daughter of Peter A. and Bergit Golberg. She was baptized July 17th, 1864, and confirmed September 28, 1879, in the First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar. On September 10, 1898, she was married to Dr. A.N. Echburg, and has maintained her home in St. Ansgar since that time.

Mrs. Echburg had been in poor health for several years, and became seriously ill the first of the week and passed away in the evening of December 26, 1941 at her home.

Mrs. Echburg is the last member of the Peter A. Golberg family, her parents, two sisters and two brothers preceding her in death. She leaves to revere her memory Dr. A.N. Echburg, Mrs. Amos P. Golberg and her nieces and nephews, Irma Golberg, A. Byron Golberg, Blanche Dalager, Mrs. T.A. Clareson of Austin, Minnesota, Dr. Roy Dalager of Chicago, Illinois, and Robert Blakstad of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Interment was made in the First Lutheran Cemetery.
