Kate Dieterichs
Kate was born Anna Katharina Dieterichs, the third child, of 11 children, of Gottfried Friedrich Heinrich "Herman" Dieterichs and Anna Christine Kneisel Dieterichs. She was born on March 6, 1868 in Mitchell county, Iowa.
Kate died on May 28, 1920, having never married. She was buried in Calvary Cemetery, in Cedar township, Mitchell county, Iowa.
It is believed that she spent a number of years taking care of her parents in their old age, but actually died before them.
Surviving her are her parents, Herman and Anna; her siblings: Fred, Amelia (Mrs. Albert) Wilk, Henry, William Louis, Carl, Margaretha (Mrs. William) Ahrens, and Herman F.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
