MRS. B. E. HUBBARD, 71, DIES AT OSAGE
OSAGE, IOWA, Dec. 24. — The funeral of Mrs. B. E. Hubbard, 71, who died Friday afternoon from influenza, was conducted this afternoon at the Baptist church. Rev. John D. Kern had charge. Burial was in Osage cemetery.
Mrs. Hubbard died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Appleton after a week's Illness.
She was born on November 26, 1857 the daughter of John and Maria Fessenden hurd, on their farm two and one-half miles north of here.
Her marriage to Mr. Hubbard took place on December 4, 1878.
Three sons and two daughters survive, as do several brothers and sisters. The children are Fred, Ed, Mrs. Walt Morrison, and Mrs. A. W. Appleton, Osage, and Reverend Arthur Hubbard, Rupert, Idaho.

Her parents, John Wilson Hurd and Marie Leone (Fessenden) Hurd are buried in the Sunset Rest, Cemetery (Northwood, Iowa).
