Mrs. Hartwig dies at Osage;
Rites Wednesday

OSAGE, IOWA — Funeral services are tentatively planned for Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church for Mrs. W. A. Hartwig, 64. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery with Champion Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Hartwig died Sunday morning of a heart attack at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Freda Tresemer in November 1897 at Eldora, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Hermina Tresemer. The family came to the Osage area while she was a child and she had lived here since. She was married in June 1919. She was employed many years at the Daylight Store.

Surviving are her husband, a son, Robert; a daughter, Mrs. Lester (Joan) Decker; four grandchildren, all of Osage; two sisters, Mrs. Donald Mason and Miss Harriet Tresemer, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five brothers, Frederick, Arlington, Iowa; Martin, St. Paul; Robert, Sherburn, Minnesota; Tom and Richard, both of Orchard.
