John Lewis Dies in California;
Rites at Osage
OSAGE, IOWA — John Lewis, 74, a former Osage resident, died Friday at Lomand**, California.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m., at the Champion Funeral Home here. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
Born near Osage, he was the son of Sidney and Mary Lewis. After the death of his wife, the former Anna Hobkirk, he went to California in 1951.
He was married there in 1952 to Mrs. Pearl Fiske Sullivan, formerly of Osage.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl; a stepdaughter, a brother, Lancy Lewis, and a sister, Mrs. Adam Mark, both of Osage.

NOTE: "Lomand" is what the paper said, but the city may be "Ben Lomond".
