Funeral Services are Held
At Schroeder & Sites
Funeral services for Clara M. Schwandt, 82, who died November 13, 1990 at St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center were held today, Thursday November 15, at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home here with the Reverend Robert Lemmermann officiating.
Clara M. Schwandt was born April 14, 1908 in Birchwood, Wisconsin to Frank A. and Bertha (Snyder) Dahlke.
She married August G. Schwandt January 29, 1927 in Buffalo, Minnesota.
Clara moved to the St. Ansgar area in 1938. She contracted diabetes in 1940. Clara was active in the Senior Saints in St. Ansgar and loved animals and her garden. She entered the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center in June of 1987.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Freddy, and one sister, Mary Katherine.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Annette) Libersky, St. Ansgar; one sister, Esther Simons of Woodville, Wisconsin, four brothers, Carl Dahlke of Dallas, Wisconsin, Floyd Dahlke of Osage, Edward Dahlke of Barron, Wisconsin, and Frank Dahlke, Albert Lea, Minnesota; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.
