Funeral services for Noris L. Culbertson, 95, of Northwood, who died Friday , June 4 at the Lutheran Retirement Home, Northwood, were held Monday, June 7 at the Deer Creek Lutheran Church, Carpenter, with the Rev. E.C. Franke officiating.
Noris was born August 10, 1897 in Carpenter to Frank and Carrie (Thon) Culbertson. He farmed in the Carpenter area all of his life. He was a member of the Deer Creek Lutheran Church. Noris enjoyed fishing, his family, grandchildren and his friends.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Frances) Walser of Northwood, and Mrs. Charles (June) Low of Chandler, Arizona; one son, Jack of Northwood; one brother, Floyd Culbertson of Waverly; 8 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Noris was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son Dean, one sister and one brother.
Burial was in the First Lutheran Cemetery.
