OSAGE, IOWA - Mary L. Schersach, 94, of Osage died Monday (Dec. 21, 2009) at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with the Rev. John Moser officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage.
Visitation is from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with a rosary at 4:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Church or Sacred Heart School, both in Osage.

Mary was born July 15, 1915, in Cedar Township, Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Mary Louise (Heal) Schersach. She worked as a registered nurse at the Osage Clinic.
Mary was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Women's Club, and the Study Club. She enjoyed family activities and vacations.
Mary is survived by nephews, Richard (Mary Ellen) Kelly of Glendale Heights, Illinois, Fred J. (Ann) Kelly, Portland, Oregon, Francis (Susan) Kelly of Snoqualmie, Washington, Kevin (Janet) Kelly of San Diego, California; 11 great-nieces and nephews; and 10 great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Catherine E. (Schersach) Kelly.
