Clinton Anderson

Clinton Anderson, age 96, of Osage, died Thursday November 12, 2009, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 16, 2009, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Pastor Gary Gilbert officiating. Burial will be at the Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Clinton was born May 19, 1913, in Viking, Alberta, Canada, the son of Philip and Maude (Lee) Anderson. Clinton was united in marriage to Maxine Nelson on June 3, 1939, in Malta, Illinois. They farmed near Sycamore, Illinois, until moving to the Osage area in 1972, where they continued farming. They moved into Osage in 1983. Clinton had served on the Sycamore School Board. He also served on the Fox River Production Credit Association, as an Approving Loan Officer and was the Past President.

Philip is survived by his wife, Maxine Anderson of Osage; his two daughters, Loretta (George) Hunt of Varna, Illinois, and Judy Anderson of Huntley, Illinois; his son, Dale (Carol) Anderson of Osage; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
