Funeral services for Aaron Christopher Bradstreet, 18, who died Wednesday, June 5, 1996 at his home in St. Ansgar, were held at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Robert Porisch officiating.

Aaron was born August 30, 1977 in Austin, Minnesota. He attended schools in both Florida and St. Ansgar. He regularly spent the summer vacations with his maternal grandparents on their farm near Otranto, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. While in school, Aaron was awarded twice by the Florida Art Association for his outstanding drawings and art works. Aaron also received the highest award in Cub Scouts, The Arrow of Light, which he was very proud of. Prior to his death, Aaron was employed at Winnebago Industries, Forest City. He was engaged to be married this fall.

Aaron is survived by his mother and stepfather, Michael and Cheryl Cherney, St. Ansgar; his father Ross Bradstreet of Florida; brothers Matthew Bradstreet of Florida and Jesse Cherney, St. Ansgar; a sister Kristen Cherney of St. Ansgar; grandparents, Doyle and Marilyn Wilder, St. Ansgar, and Harvey and Cleo Bradstreet of Florida; great grandmothers, Elmira Wilder and Lovella Hanson, both of St. Ansgar; fiance Tammy Crooks Mason City; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
