Funeral services for Mrs. Truman (Olga) Ask, 87, who died Friday, March 26, 1993, at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, at Osage, Iowa, were held Tuesday, March 30, 1993, at First Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, with Rev. Robert Porisch officiating.
Olga Constance Nelson Ask was born July 7, 1905 to Sever and Gunda Nelson, at St. Ansgar, Iowa. She was baptized into the Christian faith by Rev. M.E. Waldeland on August 13, 1905 and confirmed her faith October 24, 1920 in the First Lutheran Church by Rev. M.E. Waldeland.
Olga received her education at the Otranto Consolidated School.
May 21, 1929 she was united in marriage to Truman Ask. To this union Karleen Ann, Mary Ellen and Wesley Odell were born.
Truman and Olga lived at their parent's farm home in Rock Township 49 years. Olga was a lifelong member of First Lutheran Church and belonged to the Esther and Martha Circles.
Olga was preceded in death by her father, Sever and mother, Gunda; four brothers, Ernest, Stanley, Lloyd and Alvin: two sisters, Selma and Laurene and three grandsons.
She is survived by her husband, Truman, three children, Karleen and husband, Jim, Mary Ellen and husband, Neil, Wesley and wife, Constance; 11 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Burial was in the first Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar.

Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, was in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were: Marty Ogden, Tim Nosbisch, Jim Jackson, Jr., Eric Ask, Nick Ziniel and Dennis Stene.
