MRS. BARBARA BRANDT

After a long illness and much suffering, the Lord called away from this vale of tears Mrs. Barbara Brandt nee Klaus. She was born November 10, 1884 at Barnschua, Austria. There she was also baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church.

In 1904 she was married to Nicholas Brandt. In 1907 she came to America and lived in St. Paul until the fall of 1911 when she made her home in Mitchell County. She was the mother of six children, two of them dying in their infancy.

The deceased had been suffering from Septicemia for some time, and having been confined to her bed for about three months, death came as a relief to her last Sunday morning at six o’clock.

She leaves to mourn: her husband and four children, also her aged parents in Austria and a sister here at St. Ansgar.

The days of her pilgrimage were 33 years, 4 months, and 7 days.

The funeral was held Tuesday with interment at the G.L. Cemetery, Reverend Brammer officiating.
