Laurence Squier
Funeral services for Laurence Squier, 91, who died Saturday, May 4, at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage, were held Tuesday, May 7 at United Methodist Church here in St. Ansgar with Rev. Robert Lemmermann officiating.
Laurence Squier, a son of Joseph and Louisa Squier, was born July 20, 1899 in Mitchell County. He married Hazel Frank on July 16, 1918, and after her death her married Mae Frank on April 21, 1934.
Laurence Squier was a farmer and enjoyed buying and selling horses and cattle. He lived in Orchard, Osage and St. Ansgar areas.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Lillian) Adams, and Phyllis Miller, both of Austin, Minnesota; four sons, Larry Squier, Centerville, and Bill Squier, St. Ansgar; two sisters, Ruth Poulson, Osage, and Mildred Replinger of Hamilton, Illinois; one brother, Maurice Squier of Osage; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, two brothers, one sister, one half-brother, one half-sister, one son and one daughter.
Burial was in the Orchard Cemetery.
