Hilmer A. Odden
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 2, 1988 at the Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Chapel, Fremont, Nebraska for Hilmer A. Odden 77, of Fremont. He died Sunday, February 28, 1988 at the Dodge County Hospital there.
Mr. Odden was a retired salesman.
He was born June 23, 1910 in Osage. He graduated from Osage High School and attended St. Olaf College and the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. He sold coal for many years and later was a salesman for the former Watson Industries in Fremont.
He married Ruth Mittelstadt on January 29, 1939 in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Fremont; three daughters: Ms. Nancy Gossett of Fremont, Connie (Mrs. William E.) Smith of Lakewood, Colorado, and Karen (Mrs. Richard C.) Bylski of Sandy, Utah; a sister, Constance Odden of Pomano Beach, Florida; a brother, Lars of Jackson Heights, New York; and seven grandchildren.
