ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Louisa L. Nelson. 92, was born in Denmark in 1879. She came to America and settled at St. Ansgar, where she has since made her home. She was married to Frank J. Nelson.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. J. F. Hanson, Otranto; Mrs. W. J. Tyrrell, Osage; Mrs. Charles Libersky, St. Ansgar; one son, Carl, St. Ansgar.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1927, one son in 1945 and one son at the age
of three.
Funeral at St. Ansgar Methodist church at 2 p. m. Thursday with burial in St. Ansgar Cemetery.

ST. ANSGAR WOMAN SUCCUMBS AT 92
St. Ansgar – Louisa L Nelson, 92, widow of Frank J. Nelson, died Monday at her home in St. Ansgar.
She was a native of Denmark, coming to the United States in 1879, settling at St. Ansgar where she lived since.
Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at St. Ansgar Thursday at 2 p.m., with burial in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.
Survivors include 4 children, 3 daughters; Mrs. J. P. Hanson, Otranto; Mrs. W. J. Tyrell, Osage; and Mrs. Charles Libersky, St. Ansgar; and one son Carl of St. Ansgar. Her husband died in 1927.

Mrs. Louisa Nelson will celebrate her 90th birthday anniversary on Sunday, February 27, 1949, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.J. Tyrrell. Open house will be held at the Tyrrell home in Osage from two to five o'clock Sunday.
