STACYVILLE, IOWA-- Arthur P. Rauen, 88, of Stacyville, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 1997, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Care Center, Osage.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept 22, at the Visitation Catholic Church, Stacyville, with the Rev. John Moser officiating. Burial will be in the Visitation Catholic Church Cemetery.
Arthur P. Rauen was born June 13, 1909, in Mitchell County, Iowa, near Johnsburg, Minnesota.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Rauen, of Stacyville; four daughters, Dorothy Mullenbach, of Adams, Minn., Bernice King, Rochester, Minn., Marilyn Motzer, Eau Claire, Wis., and Ruth Jones, Chicago, Ill. ; one son, Gene Rauen, Austin, Minn.; four sisters, Isabel Rothamel, Mason City, Martha Schneider, Adams, Minn., Margaret Schneider, Adams, Minn., and Ardella Gilles, Austin, Minn.; one brother, John Rauen, Stacyville; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, one daughter and one sister.
Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.
