Services Held For Edna Kittleson
Funeral services were conducted by Reverend Olaf A. Langehough for Edna H. Kittleson on Friday, March 10, 1950, at 2 P.M. at the Schroeder and Houg funeral parlors. Interment was at the city cemetery.
Pallbearers were James Jensen, Alfred Kittleson, Ben Kittleson, Floyd Kittleson, Melvin Kittleson, and Sherwin Kittleson.
Edna Hattii (nee Kesal) Kittleson was born January 29, 1875 in Kansas. At the age of nine she came with her parents George and Pauline Kesal to St. Ansgar.
On September 25, 1894 she was united in marriage to Martin K. Kittleson. They established their home in St. Ansgar and resided here during their life time. There were no children. Mr. Kittleson passed away in September 1921.
Mrs. Kittleson has been in failing health for the past year and on October 8, 1949 she entered the State University Hospital at Iowa City for an operation and treatments.
After five weeks she returned home but gradually grew worse. She entered the hospital again on February 12th but returned home in two weeks and after a week at home she passed away Sunday evening, March 5, 1950 at 7:45 o’clock at the age of 75 years, 1 month, 5 days.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
She is survived by a brother George, one nephew and one niece
