OSAGE, IOWA - Mrs. Ed Hoel, 75, died at her home in Osage Tuesday after illness of several years; injured in automobile accident year ago while on. way to Waverly hospital, and never recovered.
Anna Wilke was born in May, 1856, on a farm near Osage, and except for three years spent in Floyd county lived entire life here. She was married on December 7, 1894, to Edward Hoel.
Surviving are her husband; an adopted daughter, Mrs. Donald Stokes of Mitchell; three sisters: Mrs. John Heusmann of Osage, Mrs, Alice Kaufman of Browns Valley, Minn., and Mrs. E. Kaufman of Victor, S.D.; and a brother, Henry Wilk, of Osage.
Funeral Friday at 1 p. m. at the Hoel home and at 2 p. m. at the Baptist church; burial in Osage Cemetery.
