DIES AT STACYVILLE, IOWA

LYLE, MINN. - Phyllis Muriel Learn, age 82, of Lyle, Minn., passed away Friday (July 17, 2009) at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, at the Clasen-Jordan Chapel, Austin, Minn., with the Rev. Kristi Koppel officiating. Interment will be in London Cemetery in London, Minn.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary and for one hour before the service at the chapel on Tuesday.

She was born Sept. 21, 1926, near London, Minn., the daughter of Harry and Grace Cook. She married Donald Learn on Sept. 22, 1944. To this union six children were born. Phyllis served on the London Cemetery Board for 24 years.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Grace and Robert Wagner, Stacyville, and Ruth Smalley, Kasson, Minn.; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Jean Learn, Red Wing, Minn., Frank and Faye Learn, Hayward, Minn., Leo and Julie Learn, Lyle, Minn., Cecil and Elaine Learn, Albert Lea, Minn.; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald; parents, two brothers, one grandson.

Casket Bearers will be Richard Wagner, Brian Wagner, Phillip Wagner, Jonathan Learn, Kevin Learn, Matthew Learn, Brandon Learn, Ryan Learn.
