STACYVILLE, IOWA - Services for Benedict B. Faas, 79, who died Tuesday at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Visitation Church in Stacyville; rosaries at 3 and 8 p.m. Thursday at the church hall. Burial will be in Visitation Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife Mabel [nee Winer]; three daughters, Mrs. William Neis of Osage, Mrs. Larry Huemann of Stacyville, and Mrs. Darwin Mauer of Denver; three sons, John of Stacyville, Sylvan of Lyle, Minnesota, and Marvin of Waterloo; a sister, Mrs. Hans Neilsen of Garner; a brother, Mike Faas of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin; 35 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Hatten and Sons Funeral Home is Stacyville is in charge of arrangements.
