Carl John Dieterich(s) is the son of Hermann (Gottfried Friedrich Heinrich Hermann) Dieterichs and Anna Christine (nee Kneisel) Dieterichs. He was born on March 10, 1876 in Floyd County, Iowa.
He married Bertha Wilhelmina Amelia Kronemann on Oct. 6, 1904 in Rock Twp., Mitchell County, Iowa. She was born in 1883, and died in 1960.
He died on Nov. 14, 1974 at Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

ST. ANSGAR - Services for Carl J. Dieterich, 98, who died Thursday at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include four sons, Ervin H., Wilmer; Lawrence, and Arnold Dieterich, all of St. Ansgar; and a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Lola) Kittleson, of St. Ansgar.
Schoeder and Dunn Funeral Home in St. Ansgar is in charge of arrangements.
