SCHROEDER, WINER, KETELSEN

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 1988 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage for Rudolph E. Schroeder, 62, of Osage. He died Monday, October 10, 1988 at home of natural causes. The Rev. Joseph Nesheim and Rev. Dennis Hanson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post No. 278 of Osage.

Mr. Schroeder was born November 1, 1925 at St. Ansgar, Iowa, to Alvin and Lillian (Winer) Schroeder. He graduated from Little Cedar High School in 1943 and served in the U.S. Army. He then worked for Mitchell County Farm Service as a truck driver.

On June 26, 1955 he was married to Dixie Lee Ketelsen at Osage. They farmed near Osage until moving into Osage in 1977. He was employed at the Osage Co-op Elevator as a liquid propane truck driver. He was a member of Osage American Legion and Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dixie Lee in 1984; one daughter, Sherri; and by one brother, Virgil.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Nick (Kristie) Ortiz of Des Moines; two sons, William and David both of Osage; one sister, Mildred Young of Osage; and one grandchild.

Visitation is at Champion Funeral Home in Osage.
