OSAGE - Diane Muller, age 58, of Iowa City, and formerly of Osage, died Sunday (May 17, 2009) at Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City.

Diane was born on July 10, 1950, in Osage, the daughter of Arthur and Audrey (McKee) Altick. Diane was employed in Osage as an X-ray technologist, and later obtained a master's degree in nursing from the University of Iowa. She worked as a nurse at the University of Iowa Hospital and at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City, where she was currently employed. Diane loved being a nurse and especially loved her family.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church in Osage, with the Rev. Anna Blaedel officiating.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Laura (Matt) Muller-Jones and their daughter, Ryann, of Grayslake, Ill.; her son, Zach (Lauryn) Muller,and their son, Cayl, of Osage, Terry Muller of Osage; two brothers, Dennis (Mary) Altick of Sundance, Wyo.; David Altick and friend, Colleen Martin, of Lead, South Dakota; and nieces and nephews,

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Arrangements are by Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage, 641-732-3706.
