James William `Bill' Hegland
ST.ANSGAR, IOWA--James William "Bill" Hegland, 72, of St. Ansgar, died Monday, June 17, 1996, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 19, 1996, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Norman E. Betke officiating.
James Hegland was born April 17, 1924, in St. Ansgar.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of St. Ansgar; two daughters, Lowana Hannam of St. Ansgar and Rebecca Hegland of St. Ansgar; four sons, Michael of Cedar Rapids; David of St. Michael, Minn.; Timothy of St. Michael, Minn., and James of Hastings, Minn.; two sisters, Dorothy Jean Harris and Sue Blumentals, both of Minneapolis, Minn.; one brother, Thomas Hegland of Brainerd, Minn.; and 16 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
The Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, is in charge of arrangements.
