OSAGE, IOWA - Geneveive Johnson, 83, of Osage, died Thursday, January 16, 1997, at the Good Samaritan Center, St. Ansgar, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manly, with the Rev. Thomas F. McAndrew officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery, rural Osage. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday with a Scripture service at the Champion Funeral Home, with the family greeting friends until 5 p.m.
Geneveive Johnson was born July 18, 1913, near Plymouth, Iowa.
Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Johanns of Stockton, Missouri; one son, Duane Johnson of Osage; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Helen Scurlock of Daly City, California; Jerry Grant of Manly; Elaine Barsness of Lake Mills, and Dolores Mathahs of Manly; and one brother, Frank Hebel of Twin Lakes, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one brother and three sisters.
