Helen Marie Pell

OSAGE, IOWA - Helen Marie Pell, 76, of Osage, died Thursday (Jan. 16, 1997) at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Champion Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Newland officiating. Burial will be in the Bohemian Cemetery, Myrtle, Minnesota. Visitation is after 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Champion Funeral Home.

Helen Marie Pell was born on January 24, 1920, in Oelwein, Iowa.

Survivors include one son, Richard Pell, Nora Springs; three daughters, Patricia Williams of Eucha, Oklahoma; Ardith Heins, Cedar Falls, and Mary Lou Smith, Waterloo, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.

NOTES:

Helen was Helen Marie (Shupe) Pell.

She was the daughter of Merril Albert Shupe and Lula (Beal) Shupe. Her parents are buried in the Wayne Cemetery.

Helen married Edward Lewis Pell, the son of Joseph and Mary (Skala) Pell.

A son is Richard Pell.
