RICEVILLE, IOWA — Ruth R. Wells, age 99, of Riceville passed away at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage on Monday, March 28, 2005.
Funeral services will be held at Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville at 10:30 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Gary Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Riceville.
Friends may call one hour before services on Friday at the funeral home.

Ruth passed away at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center on Monday, March 28, 2005.
Ruth Wells was born East of Riceville on February 27, 1906 to John and Ida (Reynolds) Fellows. She attended local school and graduated from Riceville High School in 1926. Ruth taught school for many years at the Round Grove School.
Ruth was united in marriage on September 28, 1929 to Aaron Hadley Wells. Ruth and Aaron farmed the family farm for many years. Ruth was a member of the First Baptist Church of Riceville, and loved gardening and animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Aaron in 1958 and six brothers Howard, Robert David, James, Franklin and Lloyd.
Survivors include her son, Howard of Riceville, a niece and nephews.
Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements.
