RANDY LYNN OGDEN

OSAGE, IOWA — Randy Lynn Ogden, 52, of Osage, died Monday (Feb. 9, 2004) at his home.

Randy was born Dec. 3, 1951, in Osage, the son of Nolan K. and Gaye (Schmidt) Ogden. He was raised in Osage and attended Osage schools.

He was married to Linda Williamson in Cedar Rapids on Dec. 2, 1975.

He was currently employed as a mechanic at Fox River Mills in Osage.

He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and playing games with his grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Osage with the Rev. Rick Magstadt officiating. The body was cremated, at his request. There will be no visitation.

Following the memorial service, the family will receive family and friends at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Randy Ogden Memorial Fund in care of the family.

He is survived by his mother, Gaye Younker of Osage; three daughters, Angie Ogden of Osage, Stacy Ballard (Chad) of Beattyville, Ky., and Sara Ogden and fiance Mark Beyer of Osage; one son, Jim Ogden (Brandy) of Iowa Falls; four grandchildren, Cory Ogden, Chelsey Duncomb, Ashley Ballard, and MacKenzie Ogden.; one sister, Jessica Lutz of Osage; two brothers, Rodney “Zeke” Odgen (Sally) of Osage, and Kevin Ogden of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nolan Ogden; and one grandson, Chayse Duncomb.
