#1:McINTIRE, IOWA — Dorothy Rae Butterfield, 64, of McIntire, died Saturday (July 26, 2003) at the Riceville Community Rest Home in Riceville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the McIntire United Methodist Church in McIntire, with the Rev. Michael Carey officiating. Burial will be in the Wayne Cemetery, rural McIntire.
Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. today at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville and at the church one hour prior to service Tuesday.

Dorothy Rae Butterfield, age 64, of McIntire, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2003, at the Riceville Community Rest Home in Riceville, Iowa.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 29, at the McIntire United Methodist Church in McIntire. The Reverend Michael Carey officiated. Burial was in the Wayne Cemetery, rural McIntire.
Dorothy Rae was born on July 4, 1939 to Nels and Bessie Howel Espe in Austin, Minnesota. She attended local schools and graduated from the Austin High School in 1957. Dorothy was united in marriage to Reese Butterfield on October 26, 1957 in Austin at the Presbyterian Church.
Preceding Dorothy in death were her parents; an infant daughter, Anna Marie on April 17, 1961; three brothers, Raymond, Richard and Ernest; and three sisters, Anna Bell Peterson, Elizabeth Espe and Donna Marie Espe.
Her survivors include her husband, Reese of McIntire; three sons, Randy and his wife, Bobbe of McIntire, Mark and his wife, Amelia of Elma and Wade of McIntire; two daughters, Becky and her husband, Mark Johnson of Osage and Penny and her husband, Mark Heimer of Stacyville, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Sylvester Espe and his wife, Dorothy and Leonard Espe and his wife, Janet, both of Austin, Minnesota and Paul Espe and his wife, Helen of Spring Grove, Minnesota; two sisters, Evangeline Reimann of Cambridge, Minnesota and Alice and her husband, Harold Wiste of Adams, Minnesota.
