Carmilla Wallace, age 76, of Osage, and formerly of Orange County, California, died Sunday, January 25, 2009, at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage. According to her wishes, her body was cremated. Services will be held at a later date in California.
Carmilla was born October 17, 1932 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Christian and Valentine (Goll) Krogh. She married Harold Parks and James R. Wallace. Carmilla moved from California to Iowa to be near her family.
Carmilla is survived by: son, Stephen (Bonnie) Parks, Osage; two grand-daughters, Heather Parks and Kaylyn Parks of Osage; a brother, Chris (Irene) Krogh of Memphis, Tennessee; three nieces, Heidi Mitchell, Christina Brady and Kathryn Browning; two nephews, David Browning and Jonathan Browning. She is also survived by cousins in Iowa City.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband Harold Parks and husband James Wallace, sister and brother-in-law Noel and John Browning.
