OBITUARY:

Clarise Myrtle Eggen, age 95, of Austin, died Wednesday, January 30, 2002, at Oak Lawn Healthcare Center in Mankato, Minnesota. She was born on February 23, 1906, in Mitchell County, Iowa to Magnus and Betsy (Nessett) Hanson. Clarise married Walter Eggen on May 2, 1928.
Survivors include her son, Merle (Eunice) Eggen, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; daughter, Beverly Lee, Mankato; son-in-law, Harold (Marlys) Thompson, Caledonia; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Elaine Thompson; two sisters, Margie Hanson and Hattie Haugen.
Visitation: Worlein Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and at the church one hour before the service on Monday.
Service: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2002 at Six Mile Grove Lutheran Church, rural Lyle with the Reverend Lydia Mittag officiating.
Interment: Six Mile Grove Lutheran Cemetery, Lyle, Mower county, Minnesota
Funeral Home: Worlein Funeral Home, Austin, Minnesota.
